Wikipedia
So, the ever so widely used wikipedia is growing as a fountain of information for the uninformed. Well most people don't know but anyone can edit this sight! Yes, even you. To prove this if you would like to see this in action then go to www.wikipedia.com and look up Jaime Foxx and see who his real brother was under his "early years" or something or other. How you feel when most of the stuff refrenced from this sight is not reliable information, right? Or is it? Do we as a society really make the truth or do we believe the facts? Wikipedia is one of the first sights that comes up on most searches proformed by search engines, Maybe since it sounds like encyclopedia people assume its reputable based on name recognition alone. Idiots! Like Henry Ford said, " Thinking is one of the hardest things to do which is why most people don't do it." Use your head and let me know what u think.

A lot of people are hip to hating on Wikipedia these days - with reasonable reason too - it's true: anyone can edit the site. But you know, I think people are getting too carried away with it. I mean, I consider Wikipedia to be an incredible resource, and probably reference the daily. Of course, you'll want to make sure and cross-reference the sources, and see if you can verify any questionable claims through alternate sites. But really, you think Fox News has any less of a bias? Seriously. People - good people - want to get the truth out there, and have no reason or motivation to sabotage the truth. It's true, some people are idiots, but if they're writing on Wikipedia, you'd be able to tell immediately. There have been cases of people sabotaging Wiki articles, but new technology has allowed Wiki users to track the IP addresses of the people who do this.
POINT: Don't hate on Wiki! It's an incredibly valuable tool. Just, as always, use discretion when evaluating the credibility of information you encounter. DUH!
My main point was not to hate on wiki but rather question just like any other source especially FOX. And yes there are people out there who want the truth but who's to say there aren't others out there ready to sabotage an already viewed joke? What this has forced us to do is be more cautious and like u said cross reference the sources but nonetheless become your own filter so u can decide what to believe and what not to believe.
